Our new home
We are lucky enough to live in the majestic area that is Duluth, Minnesota, on the shores of beautiful Lake Superior. With its picturesque Canal Park and its bustling downtown, the decision of where to plant our new storefront’s roots was not an easy one. However, the more we dabbled at locations, the more we found ourselves yearning to be a part of something bigger than just a great storefront. All signs pointed to the Lincoln Park Craft District of Duluth. With the help of visionaries this community has risen from a less envious area of Duluth, to a thriving hub of crafters. The businesses that have built this neighborhood curate spectacular food, drinks, products, and exceptional experiences. However, they didn’t do it all on their own. This community embraces collaboration over competition and thrives from the concept that we all do better, the better we all do. The community just makes sense. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new home and introduce you to our new neighborhood. When you visit us at Free Air Life Co. be sure to stop in and say hello to some of our new neighbors as well!
Bent Paddle’s spectacular new family-friendly taproom and pilot brewery is a local and visitor favorite. Sip on their current marketplace offerings as well as experimental versions of their delicious beers made from the freshest Lake Superior water. Feel free to order some food in from one of the local establishments in the area! Tours of their production facility are available on Saturdays.
Corktown Deli
Whether you want to sit and enjoy a sandwich and a local tap beer, or grab a bite to go, Corktown Deli is a perfect option. The choices are endless and feature their house prepared meats, salads, spreads, and soups. You can also purchase deli meat and cheese by the pound!
Cider made from 100% Great Lake Apples that is naturally gluten free and all made in-house. Whether your taste buds prefer sweet or dry, hops or fruitier varieties, Duluth Cider offers a thirst-quenching selection. Be sure to check out their daily taproom events which feature trivia, music, food trucks, and pop-up markets!
We will be just a couple doors down from the talented folks at DLH that share our same love of the North Shore’s beautiful forests, trails, and Lake Superior. Their uniquely designed apparel and accessories showcase Duluth pride with a local flare. Each of DLH’s products are designed and produced in Duluth!
This lovely space operates to give people the opportunity to work with their hands, build community, and have fun. They curate small hands-on classes with local instructors to teach you how to craft whatever interests you! The space also features Dovetail Café which offers up handcrafted food, drinks, and goods.
Duluth’s premier floral and gift shop is located right around the corner! Flora North is a charming shop that features upscale local floral selections, exquisite gifts, and an out-of-the-ordinary plant selection. They also specialize in fabulous floral arrangements for weddings and events!
Handcrafted right in their Lincoln Park storefront, this business legacy curates packs, luggage, shoulder bags, apparel, accessories, and more. Their unique waxed canvas packs and luggage feature solid brass hardware and leather from SB Foot Tannery in Red Wing, Minnesota. Their products are built right, in our neighborhood, and offer a lifetime guarantee.
Duluth’s first artisan ice cream company handcrafts their own unique blends of ice cream, sorbets, custard, and gelato. They believe in using local and sustainable ingredients in small batches to create unique and tasty rotating flavors. Love Creamery also offers a full espresso bar and pints of ice cream to go!
OMC stands for ‘Oink, Moo, Cluck’ and has become famous for their spectacular freshly smoked meats, homemade sauces, and barbecue sides with a unique flare. After studying techniques of renowned pit masters around the country, OMC has curated their own BBQ talents right here in Duluth.
From sours to triple IPA’s, Ursa Minor Brewing relies on an innovative approach with local flair. Their beers have quickly become a favorite among Duluth locals and visitors. The taproom comes complete with weekend entertainment, woodfired pizzas, and unique mugs for their loyalty mug club.
